Responsive Design
Balancing User Needs: Designing a user interface that caters to the distinct needs of both vendors and buyers. This requires constructing clear, intuitive layouts and proper information architecture that seamlessly connects our desktop version to conversion of our mobile users.
Mobile Optimization: Accommodating a vast amount of information and functionalities within a limited mobile viewport is crucial. My focus is on crafting concise and effective intuitive interfaces that excels on mobile devices.
Information Overload: With hundreds of vendors offering thousands of products and promotions, presenting all this information effectively becomes a challenge. I aim to present a balance between comprehensiveness and user experience, ensuring clarity without overwhelming users.
Graphic Design
I started off small as a 'Padawan' graphic designer. I've worked with companies such as Digital Manga Inc., Boys & Girls club, and Minute Press. We have a large amount of ongoing users from both sides (buyers and sellers). NextFashion also contains a back-end platform where vendors are able to promote their product by purchasing promotional sections throughout our site. This increase sales for for every side of the party; the vendor, retailer, buyer, and NextFashion.

To gain a better understanding of the competitive e-commerce world for wholesalers, I conducted research on various wholesale websites. I focused on layouts that effectively organize large amounts of information onto a single mobile screen, benefiting both sellers and buyers.

Design System
My responsibilities included creating and maintaining specific library of components throughout the mobile web/app. Creating a design system library ensured the design of our website to be consistent and familiar for a user friendly experience. Our design system also included rules, use cases, edge cases, margins, layout design, typography, color scheme, and icons.
Impact
Cohesive User Experience: A clean and consistent layout across all devices (desktop and mobile) is fundamental to our information architecture, presentation, and overall user experience. This consistency builds trust with our existing user base of thousands and attracts new users and companies daily.
Optimized Discovery: The homepage/landing page serves as a critical touchpoint for promotions and product discovery. We ensure a seamless experience across all devices, treating mobile optimization with the same importance as the desktop version. This empowers users to effortlessly continue selling or shopping anytime, anywhere.
Engaged User Base: We understand the importance of keeping users engaged. To achieve this, we introduce new features almost monthly, while continuously refining existing layouts to incorporate these additions and effectively present the ever-growing amount of information.
